5mm-static-grass-tufts-123-round-special-shape
5mm Static Grass Tufts — Round & Special Shape, 123 Tufts per Box

Most grass tufts look identical — perfectly round, perfectly even, and obviously manufactured. These are irregular: uneven outlines, mixed heights, closer to how vegetation actually grows. 123 tufts per box in four size grades, so a base gets variation without you arranging every piece. Nylon holds shape.

Why irregular

Round tufts are fine, but a base covered in identical circles looks like a product photo, not a battlefield. These tufts have uneven outlines and mixed heights. They sit together the way real ground cover does — no two the same, but all consistent in tone.

What you get

123 tufts per box

5 mm height

Four size grades: S and M, in round and oval forms

Peel-and-stick film backing

Nine colours (special shape) or seven (round)

How to use them

Peel off the film, press down. For a natural look, put the larger ovals at the back of the base and the smaller rounds toward the front — that reads as depth. Do not arrange them in rows.

Why size grades matter

A base with only one tuft size looks flat. Mixing S and M, round and oval, gives you front-to-back variation in a single pass. That is what makes a base look finished rather than decorated.

Nylon

Paper flock crushes and plastic tufts go brittle. Nylon springs back, so the tufts still stand up after a figure case, a tournament, or a shelf.

Specifications

Round

Special Shape

Contents

123 tufts

123 tufts

Height

5 mm (0.20 in)

5 mm (0.20 in)

Size grades

S / M / L

S/M round + S/M oval

Backing

Peel-off film

Peel-off film

Colours

5

9

Scale

28–32 mm miniatures

28–32 mm miniatures

Material

Nylon

Nylon

Weight

33 g per box

33 g per box

Independent brand.
