8mm Large Grass Tufts — 32 Clumps per Sheet, Chunky for Hero Bases

Thirty-two clumps, but each one is big — up to 14 mm across when spread. That is not ground cover. That is the clump you put at the front of a hero base, the one that makes the model look like it is standing in real overgrowth. Twelve small and twenty large in every box.
Why fewer, bigger tufts
Most tuft boxes are built for coverage: a hundred or more small pieces so you can fill a base. This is the opposite. Thirty-two clumps, each 10–14 mm across, for the places where one tuft needs to be visible on its own.
That is a different job. A base covered in small tufts reads as texture. A base with three or four big clumps reads as terrain — something the model is standing in rather than standing on.
What you get
- 32 clumps per box
- 8 mm height
- (S) 12 clumps at approx. 10 mm spread
- (L) 20 clumps at approx. 14 mm spread
- Peel-and-stick film backing
- Nine colours
- Resin — holds its shape
How to use them
Put the large clumps at the back and sides of a base, the small ones at the front. That reads as depth. Do not space them evenly — two clumps close together and one further away looks natural; four in a row does not.
Resin, not fibre
Fibre tufts go soft and flop when they are this size. These hold their shape, so a big clump stays upright and looks like a plant rather than a patch of hair.
Where they work
Hero and character bases, monster bases, terrain edges, ruins where the vegetation has taken over. Anywhere a single clump needs to read as an object rather than as texture.
