Irregular Grass Tufts — 58 Clusters per Sheet, 5mm or 8mm

Real ground cover is not made of identical circles. These are 58 irregular clumps — different outlines, different sizes, packed on one sheet. Tear one off and press it down; it already looks like it grew there. Two heights: 5 mm for ground cover, 8 mm for scrub.

Why irregular

Uniform tufts are easy to manufacture and easy to spot. A base covered in

identical circles reads as a product, not as terrain. These clumps vary in

outline and size, so no two look the same — which is exactly what real

ground does.

What you get

• 58 irregular clumps per sheet
• Sheet size 60 × 108 mm
• Height 5 mm or 8 mm
• Peel-and-stick film backing
• 4 colours in 5 mm, 8 colours in 8 mm

How to use them

Peel a clump off and press it down. Because the shapes vary, you can build

a patch without any planning: place five or six, step back, and the spacing

suggests itself. Do not arrange them evenly — even spacing is the one thing

that makes irregular clumps look artificial.

5 mm or 8 mm

5 mm is ground cover: use it as the base layer across an area, then add

taller pieces for depth. 8 mm is scrub: it holds its own next to a model

and reads as overgrown terrain. The 8 mm version also has three separate

greens (light, mid, grass), which lets you build a gradient across one

base.

Building a gradient

Take light green at the front of a base, mid green in the middle, grass

green at the back, and blend at the boundaries by overlapping single

clumps. It reads as depth in a way that a single flat colour cannot.
