Pre-mixed colour, ready to stick. Fourteen styles from a 24-clump flower box to a 188-clump sheet of grass and flowers in one tray — grass in eight shades, flowers in heather, daisy, rose red and shibazakura. No mixing, no guessing. Open the box and the colour scheme is done.
Colour decisions, already made
Single-colour tuft packs give you raw material. This gives you a finished
scheme: greens graded from light to dark, browns and beiges for dry ground,
and four flower colours — common heather, wild daisy, rose red, shibazakura —
that turn plain grass into a flowering meadow.
If you have ever spent twenty minutes deciding which three greens to combine,
this box saves you the twenty minutes.
One box, two heights, fourteen styles
The range runs from a small 24-clump flower box (a good trial size) through
60, 80, 110, 120, 126, 140 and up to 188 clumps per sheet. 5 mm for ground
cover, 8 mm where the vegetation needs to read at table distance. Ten of the
fourteen styles mix flowers in with the grass.
Bigger clumps, fuller look
Each clump spreads to roughly 15 mm — half again wider than the standard
10 mm single-colour tufts. Fewer clumps cover more ground, and the sheet
photographs denser, which matters if you are photographing armies.
Storage box, not a bag
These ship in a lidded storage box rather than a flat film pack. The clumps
do not arrive crushed, and once empty the box sorts the rest of your basing
supplies.
Where the flower mixes earn their keep
Wildflower meadows, summer pasture, cottage-garden bases, village terrain,
any scene set between late spring and early autumn. For winter or scorched
boards, the plain-grass styles (60/80/110/120) with their browns and beiges
are the ones to use.
How to use them
Cut a strip, peel, press. For meadow effect, place flower clumps in groups
of two or three with grass between them — flowers in nature grow in colonies,
not evenly. Leave bare ground visible; it makes the flowers read as flowers.
